RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing and developing Human Resources in order to improve performance
- Providing administrative and logistical support in order to facilitate the effective operations of the Ministry
FUNCTIONS
- To interpret and disseminate Terms and Conditions of service;
- To undertake staff welfare programmes including coordinating of HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness;
- To coordinate the institutionalisation of Performance Management Package (PMP);
- Staff discipline;
- To ensure proper and safe storage and retrieval of records;
- Secretarial services;
- Human Resources management and development;
- Managing the establishment and payroll of the Ministry;
- Asset management;
- To ensure occupational health and safety is maintained;
- Public Relations; and
- Office management and administration
