RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing and developing Human Resources in order to improve performance
  • Providing administrative and logistical support in order to facilitate the effective operations of the Ministry

FUNCTIONS

  • To interpret and disseminate Terms and Conditions of service;
  • To undertake staff welfare programmes including coordinating of HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness;
  • To coordinate the institutionalisation of Performance Management Package (PMP);
  • Staff discipline;
  • To ensure proper and safe storage and retrieval of records;
  • Secretarial services;
  • Human Resources management and development;
  • Managing the establishment and payroll of the Ministry;
  • Asset management;
  • To ensure occupational health and safety is maintained;
  • Public Relations; and
  • Office management and administration
