Managing and developing Human Resources in order to improve performance
Providing administrative and logistical support in order to facilitate the effective operations of the Ministry
To interpret and disseminate Terms and Conditions of service;
To undertake staff welfare programmes including coordinating of HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness;
To coordinate the institutionalisation of Performance Management Package (PMP);
To ensure proper and safe storage and retrieval of records;
Human Resources management and development;
Managing the establishment and payroll of the Ministry;
To ensure occupational health and safety is maintained;
Public Relations; and
Office management and administration
